Challenge
Upstream needed a visual identity that could reflect their global mission while remaining accessible, modern, and grounded in clarity. The brand had to communicate trust, innovation, and simplicity across diverse cultures and platforms.
Designing for oral-preference learners meant rethinking how users interact with information—prioritizing audio, simplifying navigation, and minimizing reliance on text. We needed to create a flexible, intuitive system that could adapt to varying literacy levels, learning styles, and cultural contexts across the globe.
Conclusion
Working with Upstream challenged me to think beyond conventional design practices and prioritize accessibility, flexibility, and user empathy. From building a brand identity to creating an adaptable UX/UI system, this project sharpened my skills in visual design, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams—ultimately resulting in a platform that empowers learners around the world.
